January 23, 1936 - September 30, 2022

Frank S. Kopcsa, 86, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022 at Vanonni Living Center in Mishawaka, IN. Born in South Bend, Indiana on January 23, 1936, Frank lived most of his life in Ft. Wayne, but his final years were spent in South Bend. The youngest of 5 siblings, he was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Andrew Kopcsa, sisters Joanne (James) Bauer, Beverly (Stanley) Morris, Margaret (Mike) Gotstein, Susan (John) Reed and a brother, Father Andrew Kopcsa. His siblings loving oversaw his care throughout his many years. Frank loved to play the guitar and was especially fond of traditional country tunes. He will be remembered by friends for his guitar serenades and kind demeanor. His many nieces and nephews will remember how he always looked forward to the holidays. He will be missed. The family would like to thank the team at Vanonni Living Center for the love and care they showed for Frank during his years there and especially during his final days. Frank loved them like family and was so grateful they were in his life. We are equally grateful and so blessed to have them care for Frank. Funeral arrangements are being made through Zahoran Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at St. Pius X Catholic Church on Wednesday, October 5th with visitation at 12:30pm and Mass at 1:30pm.
