MISHAWAKA - Michael John Karczewski, 70, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017.Michael was born January 24, 1947 in South Bend, to the late John and Stephanie (Jakubowicz) Karczewski. Survivors of Michael include his sister, Judy (Robert) Lodyga; brother-in-law, Jerry (Vicki) Lodyga; sister-in-law, Kim (Dave) Roberts; and many precious Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Michael enjoyed life and his family; he enjoyed listening to music, especially a Polka, looking through magazines, shuffling cards, and swinging on swing sets. He loved his pets, and Christmas was his favorite holiday. He had a good heart; he truly loved people and was a very happy person. Visitation for Michael will be 11:00am to 1:00pm Monday, February 23, 2017 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. with a Funeral Service to be held at 1:00 in the Funeral Home.
