Lottie V. Kalicki, 93, formerly of Adams Road, South Bend, IN, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2007, in St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center. Lottie was born on January 25, 1914 in South Bend, to William and Lottie (Kaminski) Nowicki.

She had been employed for ten years at the former K-Mart on Ireland Road. On June 9, 1934, in South Bend, as Lottie V. Nowicki, she married Joseph E. Kalicki, who preceded her in death on September 12, 1998. Also preceding her in death were one sister, Hildegarde Nowicki; three brothers, Irvin, Leo, and Edmund Nowicki; and by one sister-in-law, Anna Nowicki.

Survivors include her daughter, Barbara (Jerome) Badur of South Bend, IN; her son, Kenneth (Esther) Kalicki of South Bend, IN; five grandchildren, Robin (Donnie) Mullins of South Bend, IN, Randall (Lee Ann) Kalicki of Parker, CO, Deborah Ulch of Edgewater, FL, Dennis (Michele) Badur of South Bend, IN, and Daniel Badur of South Bend, IN; eight great-grandchildren, Sarah Howe, Stephanie Howe, Bobby Kalicki, Randi Kalicki, Samantha McClanahan, Kara Badur, Kasie Badur, and Kelden Badur, two step great-grandchildren, Stephanie and Melanie Boice; seven great great-grandchildren, Brandon Kalicki, Devon Kalicki, Icesis Bayliss, Carmine Howe, Nevaeh Melendez, Ranelle Cox, and Alexander McClanahan; one brother, Casimir Nowicki of South Bend, IN; and by three sisters-in-law, Mary Nowicki, Marie Hes, and Lillie Nowicki all of South Bend, IN.

Lottie was a member of St. John the Baptist Parish and Retirees Club. She was also a member of the Daughters of Isabella and the Edwardsburg Golden Agers. Lottie loved to watch old cowboy movies. She enjoyed traveling, reading, sewing, crafts, and playing the organ. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.

Services were entusted to Kaniewski Funeral Home of South Bend, Indiana.
