SOUTH BEND - Leonard M. Jurgonski, 49, passed away at 3:42 p.m. Sunday, December 6, 2009, in Memorial Hospital. Leonard was born on January 13, 1960, in South Bend, to Leonard and Tressie (True) Jurgonski, who preceded him in death along with a son, Christopher Jurgonski. Leonard was employed by Tropicana as a driver and mechanic. Surviving are his wife, Sheila Jurgonski of Bremerton, WA; two daughters, Crystal Jurgonski and Monica Jurgonski, both of Bradenton, FL; two sons, Leonard "Micheal" Jurgonski Jr. of Bradenton, FL, and Jeffrey Jurgonski of South Bend; three grandchildren, Tylere Jurgonski, Trevor Reppond and Austin Reppond; five sisters, Diane Breun, Cindy (Gary) Hansen and Judy O'Dell, all of South Bend, Peggy (Wendell) Lowry of Hamlet and Nancy (Ralph) Young of New Carlisle; a brother, Eric (Moriah) Jurgonski of Mishawaka; and by godparents, Michael and Patty Mondovics. Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 9, in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 S. Kemble Avenue. Family and friends may call from 5-8 Wednesday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to defray funeral cost.
