John B. Stukenborg, 72, 07487 Lovers Lane, Grand Junction, Michigan, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2010, at 1:25 a.m. at Saint Vincent Seton Specialty Hospital, in Indianapolis, Indiana. John was born on March 1, 1937, in Chicago, Illinois, to John and Mathilde (Bauer) Stukenborg. The family moved from Chicago to Plymouth. Sue Downhour and John Stukenborg were united in marriage on December 11, 1987. John worked for International Paper, in Grand Junction, as a production engineer. For the past 12 years they have lived in Grand Junction, moving there from Kankakee, Illinois. John was a member of Saint Teresa Catholic Church in Kankakee. John is survived by wife, Sue Stukenborg of Grand Junction; his sons John M. and Michaela Stukenborg of South Bend, Indiana, David A. and Kristine Stukenborg of Bourbonnais, Illinois, and Scott and Debbie Stukenborg of Indianapolis, Indiana; his brothers, Henry and Joann Stukenborg of Plymouth and Bernard and Margaret Stukenborg of Missouri. Five grandsons and one granddaughter also survive. Memorials may be given to American Cancer Society.
Burial: Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth, Marshall County, Indiana, USA
