MISHAWAKA - Martha A. Bilinski, 88, passed away at 12:42 AM Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014, at Your Home Assisted Care, South Bend. She formerly resided with her husband at Tanglewood Trace, Mishawaka. Martha was born on May 17, 1926, in Mishawaka, IN, to the late Ross and Bernadette (Hoose) Cleg-horn. On Jan. 21, 1950, she married Raymond Bilinski at the Cathedral of St. Matthew, South Bend. Martha is survived by her husband, Raymond Bilinski; two daughters, Sharon Clark of South Bend and Janet (Michael) Vineyard of Houston, TX; two sons, Dave Bilinski of Ft. Wayne and Larry (Michelle) Bilinski of South Bend; six grandchildren, Sarah Clark, Jamison (Danielle) Clark, Adam (Sarah) Bilinski, Eric Bilinski, Justin Vineyard and Alexis Vineyard; and four great-grandchildren, Holden Clark, Callista Clark, Addison Bilinski and Charlotte Bilinski. Martha was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Ann Smith; and two brothers, Richard and Ross Jr. Cleghorn. Martha was a member of St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church, South Bend. She previously worked as a bookkeeper for Englewood Electric until retirement in 1991. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, Oct. 20, 2014, at St. Anthony dePadua Catholic Church. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 7:00 PM Sunday, October 19th, at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, where a prayer service will be held at 6:45 PM. The family will also receive friends at the church one hour prior to services. Contributions in memory of Martha Bilinski may be given to Center for Hospice Foundation, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
