SOUTH BEND - Beverly Jane Wise, 67, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Beverly was born November 2, 1950 in South Bend, to the late Alex and Harriett Katona. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Mike Katona. On September 23, 1969 in Union Town, PA. Beverly married Mike Wise, Sr., he survives along with their son, Mike Wise, Jr.; grandsons, Gary & Bobby Wise; great-grandchildren, Shaylyn & Jadan Wise; brothers, David (Debbie) Katona, and Gary (Jenn) Katona; sisters, Debbie (Bill) Winnicki, and Barbara Katona; and her lifelong friend, Debbie Lambie. Beverly lived in South Bend her entire life. She worked in the restaurant industry. She owned the Crumstown Tavern for 17 years, where she made many friends. Beverely enjoyed playing bingo and camping with her grandchildren. A Private Graveside Service will take place in the North Liberty Cemetery. ST.
