SOUTH BEND - Jovan S. Medich, 38, of South Bend, passed away at 3:30 a.m. Saturday, September 26th, in the Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center after a sudden illness. Jovan was born on September 11, 1971, in South Bend, and had resided in the area his lifetime. At the time of his passing, Mr. Medich was owner of Ceiling Pro International.

He is survived by his loving parents, Michael and Donna (Wuchenich) Medich of South Bend. A loving sister, Danica M. (Brian) Sadewasser of Valparaiso, Indiana. Also a niece, Milena A. Sadewasser, and a nephew, Evan M. Sadewasser, whom he loved and cherished. Also his paternal grandmother, Mildred S. Medich of South Bend.

Mr. Medich was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, George H. and Anne P. Wuchenich; his paternal grandfather, Michael L. Medich Jr.; and an uncle, Steven P. Medich.

Jovan will be dearly missed by his loving family, numerous friends and his church family. He was an avid Notre Dame football fan and a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. His most enjoyable time was playing with his niece and nephew.

In the place of thy rest, O Lord, Where all Thy Saints repose, give Rest also to the soul of thy servant; For Thou alone art immortal. The family request PLEASE, in lieu of flowers, make all memorial contributions to the TRIBUTE PROGRAM St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN. 38105-1942; or to the Saint Peter and Paul Serbian Orthodox Church, located at 59262 Keria Trail, South Bend, IN 46614.

Visitation hours will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, September 29th, in the Hanley & Sons "Southwest Chapel" Funeral Home, located at West Ireland Road / Indiana 23, South Bend. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 30th, in Saint Peter and Paul Serbian Orthodox Church, with one hour visitation in the church prior to services time. Fr. Sasa Nedic will officiate with burial to follow at Southlawn Cemetery. The HANLEY & Sons "Southwest Chapel" Funeral Home handled arrangements and extends its deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers to the Medich family.
