South Bend - Bernard, 82, passed away at home on Wednesday. Bernard was born November 25, 1938 in South Bend to the late Lawrence and Agatha Nowicki. Bernard married Marlene Nowicki who preceded his in death 1994. Left to cherish his memory is his son, Martin (Lindsay Colwell) Nowicki, and brother, Theodore Nowicki. Bernard honorably served his country in the United States Army. He worked for Uniroyal for 30 years. Bernard enjoyed fishing, hunting, & traveling and visited most of the National Parks across the county. In his younger years he enjoyed competitive shooting. He also was a gardener, sharing food he grew with family and neighbors. A graveside service will be held Monday, November 29, 2021 at 12:00pm at St Joseph Cemetery.
