NORTH LIBERTY - David J. Jasinski, 80, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2017, in Wellbrook Nursing Facility. David was born November 9, 1937, in North Liberty, to Harry and Agnes (Niespodziany) Jasinski. David was also preceded in death by sisters, Adeline Jasinski and Evelyn (Ervin) Arendt; brothers, Daniel and Raymond Jasinski; brother-in-law, John Lubinski; sister-in-law, Rosemary Jasinski; and niece, Jackie Grabarek. On September 12, 1970, David married Nancy (Gondek) Jasinski, who survives along with daughter, Lori (Ken) Andrzejewski of South Bend; and son, Mark Jasinski of North Liberty; grandchildren, Scott (Brooke) Jasinski of New Carlisle, and Kiley Jasinski of North Liberty; great-grandsons, Cole and Caleb Jasinski; sister, Esther Lubinski of South Bend; brother, Robert Jasinski; sister-in-law, Jeanette Jasinski; and several nieces and nephews. David was a lifelong farmer and also worked at AM General for 17 years. He was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church. David was also a 4H leader for Olive Township. He was a gold card member at the Crumstown Conservation Club. David enjoyed listening to polka music, gardening, and raising pheasants for Crumstown Conservation Club for about 40 years. Visitation for David will be held from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm Friday, November 24, 2017, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., with a Rosary to be prayed at 4:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 25, 2017, in St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, 55756 Tulip Road, New Carlisle, Indiana 46552; Crumstown Conservation Club, 59440 Crumstown Highway, North Liberty, Indiana 46554; or the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, Indiana 46545.
