SOUTH BEND - Libbie Tupy Wisniewski, 94, passed away in Plano, Texas on Thursday, January 29, 2015. She was born on February 21, 1920 in Crisp near Ennis, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Casimir Wisniewski, father, Welsey Tupy, mother, Aloise Bobalik Tupy, step-mother, Bessie Nedenicek Tupy, sisters, Mary Sibestik, Mildred Baker, Alice Roberts, Georgia Tupy, Anne Zvolanek and brother Wesley Tupy. She is survived by one sister, Agnes Dujka, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Libbie went to school in Crisp, Texas and was a member of SPJST Lodge #25, Ennis Women's Sewing Circle and First Presbyterian Church of Ennis. She married Casimir Wisniewski on November 8, 1943 while he was station at Love Field. After the war they moved to South Bend, IN, where she worked twenty years at the Moderns Candy Factory while her husband worked at Singer Sewing Machine, Co. After retirement they built a home and moved to the family farm in Ennis. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 2, 2015 at 11 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with visitation one hour prior to services. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Ennis under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made in Libbie's name to the First Presbyterian Church of Ennis, 205 N.
