SOUTH BEND - Patricia A. Czajkowski, 80, passed away Sunday in Unity Hospital, Mishawaka. Survivors include her daughter, Rosanne Mroczkiewicz; her son, Tim; and a sister, Marianne Sobierajski. Visitation is from 2-7 p.m. Thursday in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, South Bend. Funeral Mass is at 10 a.m. Friday in Holy Family Church, with entombment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. SOUTH BEND - Patricia A. Czajkowski, 80, of South Bend, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2010, in Unity Hospital, Mishawaka. She was born February 5, 1930, in South Bend, to the late Casimer and Tillie (Dalka) Holewczynski. On April 15, 1950, as Patricia Holewczynski, she married Casimer A. Czajkowski, who preceded her in death on March 28, 2000. Survivors include her daughter, Rosanne (Kenneth) Mroczkiewicz of South Bend; her son, Tim; a granddaughter, Ferris (Jacob) Hamman of South Bend; a great-granddaughter, Christine Hamman; and a sister, Marianne Sobierajski of Merrillville, IN. Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Christine. Mrs. Czajkowski worked in the laundry department for the University of Notre Dame before retiring on October 31, 1985. She was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church and a former member of Harvest House at St. Adalbert's. Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday, November 4, 2010, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, November 5, 2010, in Holy Family Catholic Church, 56405 Mayflower Road, South Bend, with entombment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.
