SOUTH BEND - Henrietta "Hank" Soleta, 91, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away Friday, October 1, 2010, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka, Indiana. Henrietta was born on January 6, 1919, in South Bend, Indiana, to Walter and Martha (Frankowiak) Soleta. She retired from St. Joseph Regional Medical Center as a ward clerk after 30 years of service. Surviving are her sister, Margaret (Ernest) Wynn of South Bend, Indiana; nieces and nephews, Michelle (Mark) Toothman, Anne (Morris) Newsome, John (Carol) Wynn, Judy (David) Gardner and Jennifer (Greg) Heslin; and several grandnieces and nephews. Brothers, John Soleta, Rev. Chester Soleta and Justin Soleta, all preceded her in death. The family would like to thank the staff of the Sanctuary at St. Joseph for the care they provided to Henrietta. Private burial will take place. A memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
