OSCEOLA - Bryan Todd Kolski, age 27, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2012 in after an accident. Bryan was born December 8, 1984 in South Bend, Indiana. Bryan graduated from Memorial High School in Elkhart in 2003 where he played soccer and was captain of the swim team, and went on to obtain his degree from Indiana University, Bloomington in 2011. He was currently employed as a bartender and server at Constant Spring in Goshen, and had recently enrolled at IUSB to study radiology. He is survived by his parents, Phillip and Sharon (Cooper) Kolski of Elkhart, and his brother, Dr. Jeff Kolski of Los Alamos, New Mexico. Also surviving is his grandfather, Henry Kolski of Mishawaka as well as his aunt Phyllis Phelps, his uncle Craig (Eva) Kolski and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Janette Bates-Kolski, James Cooper, and Gertrude Gunter. Visitation will be held from 3-6 pm Sunday, July 29, 2012, with a prayer vigil at 5:00 pm at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola. There will also be one hour of calling at 9:00 am prior to the mass of Christian burial at 10 am Monday, July 31, 2012 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Elkhart, followed by interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Bryan enjoyed playing the cello, traveling in Europe, camping and skiing. He also enjoyed hiking in New Mexico when he would visit his brother. In his spare time, Bryan enjoyed playing paintball, running in 5K races, and volunteering his time to those in need.
