SOUTH BEND - Richard T. Kruk, 77, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2010 in his residence. Richard was born on November 7, 1932 in South Bend to the late Alex and Rose (Kokot) Kruk. On July 25, 1952 Richard married Neoma Munyon, she survives along with her children, Diane Pote of Mishawaka, Ronald (Barbara) Kruk of Osceola, and James Kruk of South Bend; grandchildren, Ronald Kruk of May Port Naval base in Jacksonville, FL, Christine Kruk of Mishawaka, John Pote of East Lansing MI., Alex Pote of Mishawaka; great grandchildren, Emily and Lilian Kruk; and a sister, Mary Lou (David) Kowalski of Granger. Richard was self employed with Dick's Automotive Service Center where he retired six years ago. He loved fishing, gardening and poker. He also was a member of St. Catherine of Sienna at St. Jude Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, September 19, 2010 at ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 1827 E. Ireland Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Monday, September 20, 2010 in St. Catherine of Sienna at St. Jude Catholic Church. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association . Condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
