South Bend - Mary Mae Baumgartner, 88, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. Mary was born January 1, 1930 in South Bend, to the late Edward and Genevieve (Siatkowski) Rosplock. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Baumgartner. Survivors of Mary include her brother, James (Constance) Rosplock; and sisters, Joan (Stephen) Rokop, Shirley Wells, Sandra Williams; and many nieces & nephews. Mary worked for Studebaker, Sample Kit then retired from Weltech International. She was a parishioner of St. Jude Catholic Church. Mary was an avid Bingo player. She never married, but had many nieces and nephews that she adored very much and treated as her own children. Mary was a very kind, loving, and generous person; she donated to many holy causes and received an award from St. Jude's Children's Hospital for 39 years of monthly donations. Mary Touched the hearts of everyone she met and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Visitation for Mary will be held 5:00pm to 8:00pm Tuesday, July 24, 2018 in ST.
