Carol J. King, 72, of North Liberty, Indiana passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 10:06 pm at Vibra Hospital of Northwest Indiana. She was born to Louis and Opal (Baughman) Kranitz on November 20, 1948 in Plymouth, Indiana. Carol married Jerry L. King on November 30, 1968 in North Liberty, Indiana. In addition to her loving husband of 52 years, Carol is survived by their children, Christina A. (Timothy) Crawford of Niles, Michigan, Deborah K. (Ryan) Jones of North Liberty, Indiana, and Sean M. (Angela) King of Walkerton, Indiana. Carol and Jerry’s grandchildren include Evan Shupert and Dylan Shupert. They also have two great-grandchildren, Roselynne Casey and Annalea Casey. Also surviving Carol are her sister, Dianne (Darrell) Stephens of Argos, Indiana, sister-in-law, Gloria Kranitz of Princeton, Indiana, and three nieces. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Kranitz and nephew, Aaron Stephens. Prior to retirement, Carol worked as an Insurance Benefit Clerk at Teacher’s Credit Union. Private graveside services will be held at Fair Cemetery in North Liberty, Indiana. Palmer Funeral Home, Lakeville is assisting the family with arrangements.
