In closing the South Bend estate of the late Renatus H Duey the widow Athelia Duey disposed of the "Duey Flats" to W. Schuyler Robertson for the sum of $40, 000.Mrs.Duey was formerly Mrs O.N. Lumbert , the wife of the Elkhart Streetcar man and Insurance promoter whoshe divorced. Mr. Duey and his first wife now dead were known in Goshen as musicians.

Renatus Nate Duey died very suddenly at South Bend Sunday. He fell as he was leaving the bath, and expired of apoplexy at once. Mr. Duey was the husband of Mrs. O. N. Lumbert, and They were married less, than a year ago.

Nate Duey received a telegram Saturday from Sacramento, California, bringing news of the death of his eldest/oldest sister, Mrs. Scaniker. She had been a resident of California for 30 years, but will be remembered by many of our older inhabitants who knew her in her girlhood. Her husdand died two years ago and she leaves two daughters, one married. The particulars of her death have not yet been obtained.
