Mrs. Erhardt lived her entire life in the South Bend/Mishawaka area. At her death, her home was on East 6th Street in Mishawaka. Dorothy was the daughter of Samuel C. HUFFORD and Estella Gertrude HERR. She first married Richard C. DOETSCH (in 1935). She secondly married George E. ERHARDT (in March 1949). Dorothy was a homemaker and mother for most of her life. She was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ in South Bend, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Eagles Aerie 435, St. Joseph Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 569, the Masonic Rose Croix Chapter 575 of South Bend, and the Women of the Moose Lodge 98 in Mishawaka. She was survived by her husband, one son, nine daughters, 39 grandchildren, and two sisters (Betty Fenters and Gertrude Andries)
