GRANGER - Granger - Nicholas (Nick) Skrzeszewski, 67, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 in the Center for Hospice Care of St. Joseph County. Nick was born July 2, 1950 to the late Alexander and Wanda (Torzewski) Skrzeszewski. On July 3, 1971 in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Nick married Martha Chlebowski, she survives along with their children, Ann (Doug) Merritt, Jill (Mike) Graber, Adam (Allison Seese) Skrzeszewski; grandchildren, Aaron, Amelia, Anna, Halle, Isaac, Alex, Sam & Drew; his sister, Barb (Jim) Cevasco, their children & grandchildren of Simpsonville, SC. Nick was a member of the Knights of Columbus Fr. Badin Council 4263, where he helped with all their fish fries. Nick also volunteered at the St. Vincent DePaul food pantry on Tuesday afternoons. The family of Nick will receive friends & family on Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 9:30am to 11:00am in St. Pius X Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00am with Rev. Msgr. William Schooler officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy in Nick's name may be made by bringing nonperishable food items to the visitation for the St. Vincent DePaul Society or to the Center of Hospice, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, Indiana 46545.
