[N13435] e.Florence Dietz (b. abt. 1913, Indiana; m. George Boberg) i.Arthur William Boberg, Jr. (b. 14 July 1934, Illinois; m. Marion McKnight Vinney as her second husband; d. 29 June 2013, Wisconsin).

Marion had a son by her first marriage, William, whom Arthur adopted after marrying her. They changed the boy’s name to Arthur “Art” Boberg. In the 1940 Census, Arthur William Boberg, Jr. is living with his mother as boarders in Illinois. Both have their surname listed as Dietz. Possibly, his parents were divorced. There is a story in the family regarding an older relative who changed his surname, which could be based on this, as later in life, he is known by Boberg again. Marion and Arthur had several children, including Mary Ann Boberg (1957-1961). After Mary Ann’s death, they adopted Janet Lee Schneller
