SOUTH BEND - Helen Severina Langfeldt, 94, of South Bend, died at the Sanctuary at St. Paul's on Friday, August 10, 2012, at 8:20 am. Mrs. Langfeldt was born May 28, 1918, in South Bend, to John and Hattie Lewandowski. She was a hair stylist of the former Florida Beauty Salon. On May 8, 1954, she married Fred H. Langfeldt of Plymouth, Indiana; he preceded her in death on August 17, 2004. A sister, Henrietta (George) Ervin of San Leandro, California, also preceded her in death on May 26, 2011. She is survived by a sister, Clare (Edwin) Fisch of Castro Valley, California; a brother, Harry (Alice) Lewandowski of South Bend; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and various philanthropic organizations. There will be no visitation. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 2:00 pm Monday, August 13, 2012, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 1827 E. Ireland Road. Entombment will take place at Highland Cemetery Mausoleum.
