BUCHANAN, MI - Patrick Manuel, 57, passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend surrounded by his family. Patrick was born on October 27, 1961 in Mishawaka to Ronald and Eleanor (Witkowski) Manuel. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald; and son, Joseph Manuel. Surviving are his mother, Eleanor Manuel of Mishawaka; daughter, Christan (Dayna Smith) Manuel of Raytown, MO; grandchildren, Lincoln and Cooper Manuel; and sisters, Sheila (James) Dill of Osceola and Christine (Steve) Szalewski of Edwardsburg; nieces, Gabby Dill and Shae Szalewski; and nephews, Corey (Amy) Dill, Calib Dill, and Grant Szalewski. Patrick was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was an avid Notre Dame fan, Cubs fan, and Bears fan. Patrick loved watching NASCAR and spending time with his family, spending time at the lake, and boating. He loved his grandchildren; his beloved dog, Sierra, who preceded him and he loved his cat, Zeus. As per his wishes there will be no formal funeral services.
