ETNA GREEN - Donald M. Waggoner of Etna Green, Indiana, died on Tuesday, Dec. 20th, at Miller's Merry Manor of Warsaw, Indiana. He was born on March 12, 1934, to Paul and Eva (Miller) Waggoner. On October 5, 1963, in Warsaw, Indiana, he married Alice E. Feldman, who preceded him in death on March 17, 2005. He owned and operated Don's Flower Shoppe in Etna Green, Indiana, from 1960-1996 where he was very detailed. He was known for his quality work throughout the area. Don was a graduate from Etna Green High School in 1952. He attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Warsaw, Indiana. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1954-1958. In years past he served on Etna Township Volunteer Fire Dept. He enjoyed going out to eat, gardening and entertaining friends for coffee and happy hour. He enjoyed watching birds at his feeders and his dogs. He loved his grandchildren and socializing with people. He survived by his son, Eric, and wife, Kim Waggoner of Etna Green; 5 grandchildren, Kristyn, Ben, Emily, Mikayla and Nick. Also by brother, Larry, and wife, Pearl Waggoner of Maryland. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Alice E. Waggoner, sisters, Judy Waggoner and Dorla Miller, brother, Ronald Waggoner, and grandson, Alexander. Services will be at 10:00 am, Friday, Dec. 23, 2016, at King Memorial Home, 101 North Tucker Street, Mentone, Indiana, with Pastor Jordan Ickes. Burial will follow at Etna Green Cemetery, Etna Green, Indiana.Visitation hours will be 4 pm to 8 pm Thursday, Dec. 22, at King Memorial Home, Mentone, Indiana.
