Dolores B. Andrysiak, 91, of South Bend, IN, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at her home surrounded by loving family. She was born on June 15, 1929 in South Bend to the late Alberto and Eugenia (Karaszewski) Brunt. On September 5, 1953 in South Bend, Dolores married Richard S. Andrysiak, who preceded her in death on April 5, 1994. Dolores is survived by her daughters, Ann Piccone of South Bend, IN and Diane (Bob) Milano of Orangevale, CA; son, Richard Andrysiak of Hobart, IN; two grandchildren, Samuel J. (Erin McQuinn) Piccone and Katelin (Mitchell Buis) Piccone; one great-grandson, Donovan; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her brother, Albert Brunt. Dolores graduated from John Adams High School. After marrying Richard, Dolores stayed home to raise their children and care for the family home. She was a member of several local bridge clubs and also enjoyed reading, gardening and collecting antiques. Dolores was affectionately known as Grandma Dodo and Aunt Dodo by her nieces, nephews and grandchildren. She loved hosting holiday parties and gatherings in her beautiful home. A memorial visitation will be held on a later date at Palmer Funeral Home--Hickey Chapel in South Bend. Dolores will be laid to rest privately at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park next to her loving husband, Richard.
