SOUTH BEND - Terry L. Raszipovits, 72, residing in South Bend, passed away peacefully at 5:30 am Tuesday, August 15, 2017, in Kindred Hospital, Mishawaka. He was born December 13, 1944, in Michigan, to the late Loretta J. Masterman. Terry served his country honorably in the United States Navy in a minesweeper as well as in Vietnam from 1963-1969. He was employed as a security officer for 12 years prior to his death. Terry is survived by his companion of 20+ years, Zella Bittle of South Bend; daughter, Christina (Matthew) Bower of Rochester, IN; four grandchildren, William Bittle II, Aryiana Bittle, Gage Orion Bower and Isaiah Parks; and one uncle, Ralph Boswell of South Bend.There will be no public services. Burial will take place at a later date at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, IN. Palmer Funeral Home - Hickey Chapel, and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
