John H. Yandl Jr., 45, of Hickory Road, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away in the comfort of his home. John Was born on Sept. 6, 1958, in South Bend to John H. Sr., and Donna (Putrzenski) Yandl. Johnny graduated from Penn High School in 1976 and later received his associates degree in computer technology from Ivy Tech State College. Johnny fought hard and stayed strong throughout his life. He leaves behind his son, Shawn Michael Yandl; his father and stepmother, John H. Yandl Sr. and Ann Yandl; his mother and stepfather, Donna and Guinn Hill; sisters, Terri Yandl-Dentino and Carmen Hosier; brother, Chad Hill; stepsisters, Sheri Mesgros, Sabrina Pitcher; and stepbrothers, Charles Eshelman and Steve Eshelman. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, along with his best friend Rich Coleburn, aunt Helen Yandl of South Bend, Debbie Yandl of California, Delores Cholowsinski of Long Beach, Miss.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Ind. The Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola, is handling arrangements. The family would like to give a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of Nephrology Inc., St. Joseph Medical Staff and Our Lady of Peace Hospital for all their loving care through the years.
