Richard M. "Easie" Ewald, 82, of Mishawaka, passed away on August 3, 2022. He was born on March 4, 1940 in South Bend to Alex and Mary (Molenda) Ewald. He married Terrie Mack on Oct. 22, 1983. Mr. Ewald is survived by his wife, Terrie; a brother, Jerome Ewald; Sister-In-Law, Judy Sander; Nieces: Dawn Ewald, Cindy (Hal) O'Neil and Cheryl (Michael) Kingsbury; Nephews: Daryl and Derek (Georgann) Ewald and James Sander; as well as many great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Darlene Ewald. Easie spent his career in the RV industry, doing everything from being an Inspector to test driving vehicles. Some of his past employers were Holiday Rambler, Utilimaster, Jayco and Camping World. He was a lifetime member of the Coachmen Auto Club and he was a volunteer firefighter for the Penn North Fire Station for 21 years. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Shriner's Children's Hospital. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no service. Chapel Hill Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
