John Frank Puchala, 46, of South Bend, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2006. John was born on May 30, 1959, in South Bend, to Frank and Sally (Kosciukiewicz) Puchala. His father preceded him in death. John is survived by his mother, Sally of South Bend, and his sister, MaryAnn (Joel) Dearing of Lynchburg, VA. John was a former manager of a local archery shop for over 10 years. He loved hunting, fishing and had a passion for the outdoors. He lived to hunt, and was a master bow hunter and an excellent archery technician. Visitation was on Wednesday, March 1, 2006, from 2 to 7 p.m. in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend, where a Rosary was prayed at 4:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held today at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony De Padua Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.
