MISHAWAKA - John A. "Tony" Johnson, 51, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away at 6:25 a.m. Friday, August 28, 2015, at Memorial Hospital. He was born on September 2, 1963, in South Bend, IN, to John and Kathryn (Lipowski) Johnson. He was united in marriage on February 14, 2011, to Samantha E. (Pettit) Johnson. Tony is survived by his wife, Samantha E. Johnson; his children, Brittney Johnson and Heather Johnson, both of Niles, MI, John Johnson of Osceola, IN, Eric A. McCreary, Joshua C. McCreary and Stephanie L. McCreary, all of Elkhart, IN; four grandchildren, Liam Echols of Niles, MI, Blaise and Gracie Wellborn, and Sammus Nevaeh Mc-Creary, all of Elkhart, IN; mother, Kathryn Johnson of South Bend, IN; sister, Julie Johnson of South Bend, IN, and Mike Johnson of South Bend, IN; nephew, Eric A. Parks of Mishawaka, IN; and niece, Sarah (Alvie) Ellen-wine of Beaufort, SC. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Stacy L. Johnson in April 1991, and his father, John Johnson. Tony was a lifelong resident. He worked as a supervisor for Indiana Michigan Concrete in North Liberty. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 1, 2015, at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St., South Bend, IN. Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services. Contributions in memory of John A.
