Julia H. Borowski, 87, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away on Monday, August 20, 2007, in St. Paul's Retirement Community. Julia was born on January 4, 1920, in South Bend, to the late John and Leokdija "Kate" Wawrzyniak and was a lifelong area resident. On November 9, 1940, she married Chester Borowski, who preceded her in death on April 26, 1999. Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Thomas J. Borowski.She is survived by her daughter, Mary Jane (Patrick) Carey of South Bend; her daughter-in-law, Jane Borowski of South Bend; by four grandchildren, Jonathan (Alexandra) Borowski of Ocala, FL, Emily Borowski of South Bend, Erin Carey Brammer (Jason) of Chicago, IL and Angela Carey of Norfolk, VA; and by two great grandsons, Tommy and Paul. Mrs. Borowski was a parishioner of Holy Cross Catholic Church, South Bend. Services were entrusted to Kaniewski Funeral Home of South Bend, Indiana.
