Sept. 8, 1977 - Oct. 30, 2013 CHICAGO, IL - Jessica Lee (Pluta) Vanderbeek, 36, went to be with God with her family by her side October 30, 2013, after a courageous battle with leukemia. Jessica was born September 8, 1977, in South Bend, IN, to George and Janice Pluta of Granger, IN. She is survived by her husband, Scott, and their four children, Lillian, Kate, Benjamin and Claudia. Her sister, Alison Robertson DDS (Jeffery), and her parents, George and Janice Pluta. Mother and father-in-Law, Gary and Lynne Vanderbeek. Brother-in-law, Chad Vanderbeek (Ginny), and nephew, Finn. Jessica was a graduate of Penn High School in 1995. She graduated from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University Bloomington, IN, in 1999, with a degree in Accounting and was an employee of FINRA. She was married to her husband, Scott Vanderbeek, in 2002. Jessica was a loving wife and mother who always lived life to the fullest. She will truly be missed and never forgotten.
