Florian J. Zmyslo
July 10, 1922 - June - - Florian J. Zmyslo, 87, passed away on Friday, in his brother's home with his family by his side. He is survived by his sister Bernice (John) Chrobot; brother, Al (Rose) Zmyslo; and by nieces and nephews, Alison Huener, Laurie (Dan) Doherty, Barbara, Paulette, Ronnie, Alan, Debra, Mark, Judy, Sharon and Paul. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm on Monday, in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road where a Rosary will be prayed at 4:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Tuesday in St. Adalbert Catholic Church.

SOUTH BEND - Florian J. Zmyslo, 87, passed away at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 25, 2010, in his brother's home with his family by his side. Florian was born on July 10, 1922, in South Bend, to the late Paul and Josephine (Watroba) Zmyslo. He was also preceded in death by his four brothers, Steve, Walter, Stanley and Ben Zmyslo, and by his sister, Helen Bolka. He is survived by his sister, Bernice (John) Chrobot; brother, Al (Rose) Zmyslo; and by nieces and nephews, Alison Huener, Laurie (Dan) Doherty, Barbara, Paulette, Ronnie, Alan, Debra, Mark, Judy, Sharon and Paul. Florian sang in the choir at St. Adalbert Catholic Church where he was a parishioner for many years. He honorably served his country during WW II in the United States Army under General Patton. He enjoyed working in his flower garden and refinishing furniture. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 28, 2010, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a Rosary will be prayed at 4:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2010, in St. Adalbert Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Southern Care Hospice, 310 West McKinley Ave., Suite 340, Mishawaka, IN 46545. For those who are unable to attend the funeral Mass, condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
