Born 31 Jan 1920; died 4 May 1981, age 61 of 18300 Crown Hill Drive at 4:12 p.m. at St Joseph Medical Center after suffering an apparent heart attack. Services at Little Flower Catholic Church, burial in St Joseph Cemetery. He was a WW II veteran and a recipient of the Silver Star & two Purple Hearts. He graduated from SBd CAtholic High School and attended St Joseph College, Rensselaer. He was an accountant in the finance office of the United States Post office. On 4 May 1946 he married Evelyn Cabana who survives along with a daughter, Mrs Judy Hums of Mishawaka, a son Christopher at home; two sisters, mrs Alycce Vargo & Mrs Harriet Thomas, both of So Bend, and a brother, Leonard of Portage IN.
