ALAMO, CA - Charles “Chuck” Bobinecz passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018. He touched many lives with his love for family, friends, and the outdoors. Chuck was born in Granger, Indiana and graduated from Mishawaka High School. He earned a degree in Business Accounting from Indiana University, and his MBA from Santa Clara University in California. After serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, Chuck enjoyed a long business career and retired in 1995. He was an avid world traveler, and also achieved his Master Gardener accreditation through UC Davis. Chuck was an active member of SIRS Chapter 146. Chuck is survived by his loving wife, Mary; devoted children, Mary Jo Kemper (Brian), Carol O'Keefe (Brian), and Michael Bobinecz (Janet), and 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his youngest daughter, Theresa Alleman (Mike). He is also survived by his sisters, Helen Orisich (Frank), Mary Stuglik (Edwin), and Marge Schwind (Jack). Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Mass at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 1650 Ygnacio Valley Road, Walnut Creek on Friday, February 16 at 10 am. A reception will be held in the church hall immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the charity of your choice.
