NEW CARLISLE - Mary T. Reeves, age 98, of New Carlisle, gently passed away at 10:00 am Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Boswell Hospital in Sun City, Arizona, surrounded by her family. Mary was born September 30, 1919 in Mishawaka, Indiana to the late Frank and Augusta (Karolyi) Pusty. She is survived by the love of her life, Jack Carlyle and her children, Delbert (Mary) Ezra of Georgia, Leila Patry of Lake Havasu, Arizona, Alvin Ezra of Oklahoma, and Mona (Joseph) Kafka of New Carlisle. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughters, Penelope (A.J.) Williams & Patsy (Max) Voss; her son-in-law, Ed Patry; and 3 grandchildren, Robert Castle Jr., Margaret Castle, and Joey Kafka. Also preceding her in death was her sister, Valeria Paszli and her brother, Frank Pusty. Two hours of visitation will be held prior to the 12:00 pm Memorial Service on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Cruz Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Osceola. Interment will be private in New Carlisle Cemetery, New Carlisle, Indiana. Mary retired from the Morris Inn at Notre Dame. She had a great love of life and was always ready to go to play Bingo or go to the Casino. She also loved playing cards with her neighbors.
