John Christy Smith Aug. 22, 1956 - July 26, 2014 MISHAWAKA - John Christy Smith, 57, of Lincoln Way East, Mishawaka, passed away on Saturday, July 26th, 2014, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka, Indiana. He was born in Tennessee on August 22nd, 1956, to John Vance Smith and Ann (Tirotta) Smith, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his three children: Angela Valentiny and Adam Valentiny, both of South Bend, and Andrea Valentiny of Mishawaka. Also surviving are several brothers and sisters, along with his grandchildren: Ivy, Isabella, Kelsi, Isaiah, Braxton, Maesa, Alex and Landon. He also has many Aunts, Uncles, nieces and nephews. Johnny loved working on cars and was an avid pool player. He was a great man with a big heart. He had a contagious smile and he loved to make people laugh and smile. He is loved by many and his family and friends will miss him terribly. Johnny loved his children and grandchildren very much. There will be no visitation.
