SOUTH BEND - Martha I. Dobosiewicz, 95, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2013, in the Sanctuary of Holy Cross. Martha Dobosiewicz was born July 23, 1917, in South Bend, to the late Frank & Hattie (Rosploch) Kielton. Martha married Aloysius Ziolkowski on May 25, 1941, and he preceded her in death on December 28, 1973. She then married Harry Dobosiewicz on October 6, 1977. He preceded her in death on April 1, 2006. Martha was also preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Ann Lubway and Yolanda Horvath, and infant brother, Tony Kielton. Survivors of Martha include her daughters, Barbara (Ron) Kwiecinski of South Bend, Mary Helen (Clark) Hensell of New Carlisle, Margaret (Jerry) Zielinski of South Bend; stepson, Leonard (Mary Ann) Dobosiewicz of Lakeville; grandsons, Christopher (Brenda) Rajski of South Bend, Alan Hensell of Shelby, NC, Phil Kwiecinski of South Bend; granddaughters, Janet (Brian) Wroblewski of South Bend, Jennifer (Kevin) Borsch of Walkerton; great-grandsons, Jordan, Joshua and Jacob Wroblewski, Grant Borsch; great-granddaughter, Lilie Borsch; step-grandsons, Troy, Todd (Lisa), Ted Dobosiewicz; step-great-granddaughters, Jenna Laughman, Elaina Dobosiewicz; step-great-grandson, William Dobosiewicz; sister, Pauline Niedosik; sister, Theresa (Daniel) Niedbalski; sister-in-law, Genevieve Ziolkowski; also many nieces and nephews. Martha retired from the Kuberski Department Store after 24 years of service; she was a parishioner of St. Casimir Catholic Church, Polish Roman Catholic Union, Senior Citizens Club & the Rosary Society at St. Adalbert. She enjoyed crocheting, baking & gardening. A long-standing tradition, the family would gather at Harry's and Martha's home for the West Side Memorial Day Parade. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Casimir Senior Citizens; to St. Casimir Catholic Church, 1308 W. Dunham St., South Bend, Indiana 46619; or to Sanctuary at Holy Cross, 17475 Dugdale Drive, South Bend, Indiana 46635. The family would like to thank the entire staff at the Sanctuary at Holy Cross for their excellent care. Rev. James Seculoff, Rev Charles Herman, George Metz, Rev. Tom Lemos, CSC, Sister Anthony Kubat, CSSF, Sister Marie Carmel, CSC, Sister Margaret Ann, CSC, Sister Mary Pius, CSC, Tina Kloski and Barbara Wojtanowicz, Visitation for Martha will be 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, Feb. 13th. A Rosary will be prayed at 4:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Thursday, Feb. 14th, in St. Casimir. Burial will follow at St Joseph Cemetery.
