Mrs. Irene S. Slisz, 64, of 505 So. Liberty St. died at 4:00 p.m. in Memorial Hospital after a two week illness. Mrs. Slisz, was a former Medical Arts Building employee. Born June 21, 1911, in South Bend, she had lived here for her lifetime. On June 26, 1937 as Irene Banasiewicz she married Ferdynad Slisz in St. Adalberts Church, who survives. Also surviving are two sons Ralph of South Bend and Thomas of Dunlap; two grandchildren;two brothers Walter and Marion, both of South Bend and two sisters Geneieve Sciglowski and Aurelia Banasiewicz of South Bend. Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Adalberts Catholic Church, the Rev. Eugene Kasmierczsak will officiate. Burial will be in St. Josephs Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the St. Joseph Funeral Home.
