Renata M. Kazmierczak was born on May 17th 1930, in South Bend, In to Stanley and Mary (Lyczynski) Kurpiewski, and was a lifelong South Bend resident. Rene graduated from Washington High School where she met her future husband Richard D. Kazmierczak and they were married on August 11th 1951. They were married for 59 years before his passing. Rene and Dick have 5 children, Kristine Kazmierczak, Dave (Sally) Kazmierczak, Paul Kazmierczak, Dianne Kazmierczak, and Mary (Kevin) Mortensen. Rene and Dick were blessed with 6 grandchildren, Jennifer and Andrew Kazmierczak, Nicholas and Faith Kazmierczak, and Micthell and Riley Mortensen. Rene worked for the SBCSC for 34 years and then retired from HealthQuest Corp. after 9 years. She was a long time member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church and is a current parishioner of St. Jude Catholic Church. Happy Birthday Mom we all love you.
