NILES - Bernard Francis Beaudoin, 70, of Niles, MI, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2014, at home. He was born June 8, 1944, in Calumet, MI, to the late Delia and Theophile Beaudoin. At the age of 18 he moved to Niles and worked at Buchanan Steel for 25 years, then worked at Steel Warehouse South Bend for 25 years. Bernard was a member of Goldwing Road Riders Association, Chapter N of South Bend. On March 2, 1971, he married Mattie Jarman in Buchanan, MI. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mattie Beaudoin; sons, Keith (Lori) Beaudoin, Brian Beaudoin, Thomas (Tina) McManamin and Timothy McManamin; daughter, Susan Follmer; brother, Allen Beaudoin; sister, Jean Kowalski; grandchildren, Melissa, Rachel, Micheal, Felicia, Tori, Ashley, Melonie, Raven, Cari and Lena; and great-grandchildren, Lucas, Anthony, Logan and Jasmine. Bernard was preceded in death by his parents, Delia and Theophile, and daughter, Kimberly Beaudoin. Funeral services for Bernard will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2014, at Hoven Funeral Home in Buchanan, MI. Visitation will be two hours prior to the services.
