FRANK KOTAL

Friends of Frank Kotal may call after 2 p.m. Thursday in the Zahoran Funeral Home. Mr. Kotal died Monday in Fraser, Mich., where he was visiting his daughter, Mrs. Betty Doyle. He was born in Austria-Hungary, on Aug. 15, 1872, and came to South Bend 61 years ago from there. He was a retired Singer manufacturing Co. employee. Surviving besides the daughter are another daughter, Mrs. Mary Dumas of Granby, Colo.; a son, John of South Bend, and 11 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Mr. Kotal was a member of the St. Stephen's Society of St. Mary's of the Assumption Church.

KOTAL--Rev. Edwin C. Bauer, C.S.C., pastor of St. Mary's of the Assumption Catholic Church, will recite the rosary at 8 p.m. today in the Zahoran Funeral Home for Frank Kotal. Mr. Kotal died Monday in Fraser, Mich., where he was visiting his daughter, Mrs. Bettty Doyle. Pallbearers will be Robert and Harold Martin, Joseph and Henry Kotal and Anthony Sakara and Robert Firestone. Burial will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
