One of the first mentions of the village of Raba Wyzna (as Raba) is in the records of conscripts Polish Kingdom from 1581 year. They show that the village belonged to the Castellan of Krakow Lawrence Spytka Jordan .In the years 1846-1847 the village affected by the famine which followed crop failure and epidemic typhus . 1/3 of the rural population (according to the books of records daily died about 3 - 4 persons). That's when the decision was made to start a new cemetery - and how it was recorded in the Chronicle of the parish by the then parish priest. Gottfried Fitz: (...) then was a different place to the cemetery behind the village peeled on the role Piekarczykówce (...) [5] . The new burial place, dedicated to the dean Makowski, ks. Martin Lesniak on September 21, 1847 is the parish. Stanislaus in Raba Wyzna to this day (the parish cemetery was enlarged gradually, most recently the new part of the cemetery devoted the then auxiliary bishop of Krakow, and is currently the Field Bishop of the Polish Army , Joseph Guzdek during visits in 2007). Epidemics of typhoid and dysentery returned in subsequent years. There were also isolated cases of deaths from cholera . In September 1899 opened the railway line Chabówka - Zakopane . In 1902, it was built in Raba Wyzna Palace Głowińskich in the style of Art Nouveau for John stove fitters, designed by Konrad Khul. Since 1906 works in the village 's Bank .
As a result of World War II, many of the villagers fled their homes. On 2 September the village swept the battle , which resulted in burned approx. 40 houses. It killed several civilians.
September 3 Germany stopped a large group of men walking to the Sunday Mass at the church. They were deported to a labor camp in Mauthausen in Austria.
In 1941, Germany took the bells from the church. In 1943 they occupied the palace.
In 1945 the heirs of the estate was taken rightful owners.
