Mrs. Helen Lemanski, aged 49, of 2005 West Sample street, died at 3:50 a.m. Sunday in St. Josephs hospital after a years illness. She was born in South Bend, Feb. 11, 1895, and had lived here all her life. Surviving are the husband, Michael, four sons, Joseph and Edward Lemanski, of South Bend; Corp. Stanley Lemanski in England, and Pfc. Casimir Lemanski, in San Francisco; two daughters, Mrs. Eleanor Plencner and Miss Irene Lemanski, both of South Bend; four brothers, George, John and Leo Michalski, all of South Bend, and Casimir Michalski, serving with the United Stated forces in England, and two sisters, Mrs. Marie Siupinski and Mrs. Josephine Odynski, both of South Bend. Friends will be received in the home after 5 p.m. today. The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary of the Holy Rosary Polish National Catholic church. Rev. Ladislaus Proniewicz, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Josephs cemetery.
