MICHIGAN CITY - Ann Witowski, 89, of Michigan City, Indiana, passed
away Friday, November 28, 2008 at 1:04 AM in Hamilton Grove Nursing Home, New Carlisle. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church with the Rev.Walter Ciesla officiating. Burial will be private in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 PM, Monday and Tuesday from 8:30-9:30 AM at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN. She was born February 11, 1919 in Michigan City, Indiana to the late Stanley and Veronica (Pietras )
Penziol . On September 2, 1940 in Michigan City, she married Stephen W. Witowksi, who preceded her in death on July 8, 1993. Surviving are a daughter, Barbara (Robert) Kozmer of South Bend; two sons, James Witowski of Michigan City, and Daniel Witowksi of Clear Water, FL; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Joan Witowski; a grandson, Mark Kozmer; brothers, Anthony and Stephen Penziol and a sister, Helen Tobin. She was a
