Betty J. Fuchs, 85, of Lakeville, IN passed away at 12:52 a.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Community Hospital of Bremen, IN. She was born on March 9, 1927 in Lakeville, IN to John and Mary Kathryn (Frick) Pletcher. On November 15, 1946 in Lakeville, IN she married Bobbie "Bob" G. Fuchs. Mrs. Fuchs is survived by her husband of sixty-five years, Bobbie "Bob" G. Fuchs of Lakeville, IN; three daughters, Janet A. Fuchs of Millersburg, OH, Nancy (David) Isenhour of Anderson, IN and Beth Ann (Jason) Good of Lapaz, IN; son, Lanny (Donna) Fuchs of Lakeville, IN; son-in-law, Larry D. Strycker of Lakeville, IN; nine grandchildren, Bill Fuchs, Steve (Courtney) Fuchs, Lauren (David) Mark, Alison (Michael) Ippolito, Katie (Bob) Strang, Matthew Strycker, Sydney Good, Jacob Good and Michael Good; four great grandchildren, Madelyn Fuchs, Ava Fuchs, Reagan Strang and John David Mark and brother, Robert (Marlene) Pletcher of Middlebury, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Karen Strycker on April 6, 2005 and brother, Norman Pletcher. Mrs. Fuchs was a lifelong resident. She formerly attended Lakeville Christian Church. She was an avid sports fan, especially loved watching the Cubs, Notre Dame sports and Indiana basketball. She always put her family first before anything else and loved having her whole family together. She loved her husband and family with all of her heart and they love her. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 29, 2012 in the Palmer Funeral Home, 314 S. Michigan St. Lakeville, IN. Graveside services and burial will follow in Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. The family will receive friends from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Contributions in memory of Betty J.
