Richard L. Piotrowski

Richard L. Piotrowski, 46, of 750 S. Gladstone Ave., died at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Hospital following a 10 week illness. An employee of the Bendix Corp., he was born here on Oct. 27, 1916. He married Anna Rajski on June 21, 1941, in St. Adalbert's Catholic Church. She survives with one son, Ernest, at home; a brother Chester, and a sister, Mrs. Gladys Kurdys, both of South Bend. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Thursday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home. Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Adalbert's Church with Very Rev. Msgr. Ingatius J. Gapczynski, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Mr. Piotrowski, a veteran of World War II, was a member of Chapter 6, Disabled American Veterans. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
