Theres an obit for an Irene Szuch on 10 June 1958, that says she is survived by a son Fred in Germany, and her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Stephen Szuch, and some siblings. Szucs is a relatively common Hungarian name; it might also appear as Szuts, Seach (in America).

According to the census records, Irene is single (not widowed or divorced) in 1940 and 1930. In the 1930 census, Fred appears as "Rudolph" and is listed as the son of Stephen and Agnes Szucs, but I think he was their grandson. Someone has a family tree on ancestry.com that states that Szuch is Irene's maiden name and that she is the daughter of Stephen Szucs and Agnes Kovacs. The tree shows her son Frederick Rudolph married to Barbara Borowski.
