SOUTH BEND - Jane M. Shea Splawski, 54, passed away at 10:30 AM Saturday, September 28, 2013 at her home. Jane co-owned Miami Village Consignment Shop, South Bend for twelve years. Jane was born on September 12, 1959 in Chicago, IL to the late James and Elizabeth (Weber) Shea and has lived in South Bend for the past 24 years coming from IL. On December 17, 1994 in South Bend, IN she married David A. Splawski, Jr., who survives. Also surviving are her daughters, Lisa (Daryl Richmond) McBride of Gulfport, MS and Adrianna (Kenneth Smith) Shea of Memphis, TN; her son, Christopher (Gina) Parratore of Mishawaka; six grandchildren, David, Chelsea, Cameron, Kayden, Madison, and Lexi; two sons of choice, Jack and Chris of Shorewood, IL; and one brother and two sisters. Two brothers preceded Jane in death. Jane enjoyed riding Harley's. She was a NASCAR fan and loved her two dogs, Winston-poop and Brosko. She enjoyed spending time in "the backyard" with friends. Jane was a floral designer by trade. Memorial services will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave, South Bend where friends may visit with the family from 11 AM Saturday until time of services. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy to the Shea Splawski Family may be sent to Center for Hospice Care, 111 Sunnybrook Ct, South Bend, IN 46637.
