SOUTH BEND - Loretta Jo Catalino, 86, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Loretta was born August 21, 1930 in South Bend, to the late Walter and Clara (Deka) Borowski. She was also preceded in death by sister, Barbara Szuch. Survivors of Loretta include her children, Henry (Kathleen) Catalino, III of Granger, Melonie (Larre) Rhodes of South Bend and Teena (Michael Jr.) Lutomski of South Bend; grandchildren, Tricia Catalino, Tammie Catalino, Jaymie (Brandon) Paternoster, Michael (Sarah) Lutomski, III, Angela (Cameron) Goedde, Matthew (Ashley) Rhodes and Bradley Rhodes; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Rita Snyder of South Bend and sister-in-law, Janet Carrico of Mishawaka. Loretta retired in 1986 from Uniroyal in Mishawaka. She moved to Arizona to enjoy her retirement with her sister Rita and later returned to South Bend in 2010. She was a parishioner of St. Jude Catholic Church. Loretta was an avid Notre Dame Women's Basketball and an Arizona sports fan. She also enjoyed reading and going to the casinos. Visitation for Loretta will be 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Friday, June 9, 2017 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. with a Funeral Ceremony to begin at 5:00pm in the Funeral Home.
